演講摘要The functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) is a newly developed technique in monitoring cerebral hemodynamics during functional tasks. Growing number of fNIRS studies was published in various subfields of neuroscience for the past decade because of the portability, no posture or environment constraint, and relatively low costs of fNIRS technique as compared to fMRI. In this talk, I will start from the mechanism of neurovascular coupling to the comparisons between fNIRS, fMRI, and electroencephalography (EEG), and then give the general introduction of the basic principles, characteristics of fNIRS, and its applications in cognitive science, neuromotor control, psychiatric disorders, and cerebrovascular diseases.
